TECON presented three significant new product launches at bauma China 2024, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 26–29 November 2024.
The centrepiece of TECON’s exhibition was the SCP LITE – a new lightweight self-climbing platform designed for mid-rise buildings where a full hydraulic climbing system would be cost-prohibitive. The SCP LITE uses an electric chain hoist climbing mechanism and features a simplified aluminium work platform structure that reduces setup time by approximately 30% versus the standard SCP.
TECON also unveiled an updated Heavy-Duty Steel Prop with an integrated safety lock mechanism, and a new modular trench box system for utility excavation applications.
Over 1,200 visitors attended TECON’s booth during the four-day event, including contractors from 38 countries.
