Metro Line 4 is a critical transport infrastructure project requiring high precision in the concrete tunnel lining. TECON was selected to design and supply the customized hydraulic tunnel lining formwork carriage.
Shoring & Formwork Solutions
We engineered a self-propelled hydraulic tunnel lining trolley (length 12m) that enabled concrete pouring of a full ring section every 36 hours. Hot-dip galvanized panels were used to prevent corrosion and deliver a super-smooth concrete face.
Results
- Zero concrete defects or honeycomb structures.
- Project completed 15 days ahead of schedule.
